My husband is a hillbilly

The older Jason gets, the more I realize he is just one big hillbilly.  I swear when I married this man, I had no clue.  He would joke and wear his "redneck" belt buckle, but I honestly thought it was just a joke.  Those of you who knew him as a single guy know he was just about the anti-hillbilly.  He spent more time getting ready than me, (and still does sometimes) and was definitely into how he looked.

Now, his wardrobe consists of ball caps (he didn't even wear one until about a year or so ago), gray t-shirts (that he got from Wal-Mart for probably less than $10, black shorts and flip flops.  That's it.  That's the extent of what he wears, all the time.

He now wears his hair shaved all the time.  I really can't stand his head shaved, but it's just not worth it anymore and it is starting to grow on me.  When he grows his hair out it doesn't even look like him anymore.

He drives a very loud, big, diesel truck.

He jams to country music or occasional angry classic rock.

He is now a truck driver.

And, to reach an all time low, we were talking on the phone earlier this week and I asked him if he wanted me to save the new Rizzoli and Isles for him on the TV.  He said, "Yes."  So apparently I'm supposed to save all of his DVR'd shows on the DVR for him until he returns home in a few weeks for a few days (who knows how he's planning to get caught up, but not my problem).  Then he said, and I quote, "If the DVR starts to get full (we have 1000 hours), you can cancel Cops.  I'm pretty sure there aren't any new episodes."

Really?  We actually TiVo Cops?  Who does that?  I'm pretty sure you can find episodes of it any time on about 15 different channels!  And, really?  You record almost 1000 hours worth of TV in 2 weeks!?!

I swear, I married a hillbilly- and he's only 30.  Imagine his hillbilliness in 10 years from now!  20 years!  Oh my!
