Dates up until now

Okay, I haven't been very good about updating everyone on this.  Here's why.  We haven't been as good about this as we should have, mostly because we're still trying to get in the groove of two kids and then I went back to work and all that stuff.  However, we have come up with a system and we have had some a few "creative" dates in the last month or so.

• Valentine's Day my sister watched the boys while they slept, after we watched her daughter, so we could run and get frozen custard.  I'm pretty sure that's the reason the following weekend was horrible for Kody (and subsequently, me) but still, it was a nice treat.
• Two weeks ago we bought a new tv with our tax return.  So then we had to go to Ikea to get a way to mount and store it.  And when you go to Ikea in AZ, you go to Forefather's for dinner.  It's standard procedure.  So we did all that.  It was probably the most enjoyable experience I've ever had at Ikea with Jason.  Mostly because we were looking for something he cared about, but hey, I'll take it.  (The boys were with us, but I'm counting it.)
• So then last week we had to hide the cords for the new tv behind the wall.  So we did a 2012 review scrapbook page from Dating Divas (if you haven't been to that site before you are MISSING OUT!!!!) and then cut some holes in drywall and installed cover plates.  And because it was a date, I actually cut drywall. 
• One night I had a certification class, so I brought home McDonald's for us to eat after the boys were asleep.  

As you know, the life of two little ones is just smokin' hot!
