Yummy!

So, I should go to bed, I'm so tired from the heat and going to bed too late this week, but I must share! I made a dessert tonight that was on the back of a bag of cookie mix I bought a while ago. Here's the deal, I got them for a really good deal and thought to myself, I'm sure these will be so easy and yummy to make in a bind. Well, I was wrong. Yes, they are easy, but no, they are not yummy. So as I looked at them tonight, I figured I might as well make the last bag and get them out of my kitchen for once and for all. And then, the heavens opened, and a beacon of light appeared! There was a recipe on the back for chocolate chip cookie dough brownies! It was a match made in heaven. I had all of the items: box of brownies, bag of cookies and chocolate frosting. So I made them up and they were divine! I just enjoyed one (after a nice long walk, mind you, practically making it null and void, but who's counting?!?). YUMMY! So I'm thinking they'd be easy to recreate making everything from scratch. Mix up your brownies, pour in pan. Mix up cookies, scoop dough into brownies. Flatten cookie dough into brownie dough. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Remove, let cool for an hour and then cover with chocolate frosting. Simply wonderful! Happy baking to you!

You are evil, you know that right? If I made that I would not be a good girl like you and only eat one. I would be walking for a week straight because I KNOW I would eat the entire pan!

sounds like a great school pot luck item...though there are always way too many desserts and not enough real food.
