It's all fun and games, until someone loses an eye

So, obviously, I'm on a movie quoting kick right now.  I think it's due to the fact that I taught my kids about allusions this week...anyway....

So, it's all fun and games that my boy is so big, until:
  • He no longer fits the short length of his crib (that happened a while ago), and takes up more than half of the long length!
  • He can't fit in the bumbo chair.  His feet start to turn blue.  And, no, he isn't sitting up on his own yet.
  • I think it's time to dissemble the swing.  We haven't put him in it for a while, but I'm thinking he might be getting too big.  Anyone know the age range on those?
  • I think he needs wide shoes.  His feet aren't longer than size 2s, but those are like Cinderella stepsister shoes on him.
  • Getting him in the carrier requires butter and a shoehorn.
  • Lifting the carrier requires a forklift.

Me no likey shoes for babies--only Robeez or socks that look like shoes. :) When my kids got into their official walking shoes, they were always Extra Wide! It's a baby thing. :)

Oh the joys of a big baby. Whenever my grandma would try to carry Ashilene she would say, "Oh, she's a chunk." Thanks grandma. The comment about needing a forklift to carry the baby carrier cracked me up. I definitely would've died without my quick & easy Snap N Go stroller to help me cart the baby carrier around.;)

The swings don't really have an age range so much as a weight range. They only go up to 22 lbs like the infant carriers. Get him a carseat that can be both forward and backward. Cosco (the brand not the store) makes one that goes up to one hundred lbs and one that goes up to 40 lbs. You can buy them at Target and Target.com (and Walmart too) and they are $50. http://www.target.com/p/Cosco-Scenera-40RF-Convertible-Car-Seat-Marianne/-/A-12855369
