Irresistible!
Discerning Johnny Features
1. Daddy's blue eyes
2. large in stature (The Fry's checkout lady argued with Jason that he was a year old, she couldn't believe him.)
3. baby six pack (You know what I'm talking about, as he gets ready to sit up, I can totally see how his belly muscles are getting stronger and more defined.)
4. soft brown hair (Jason and I both had that light brown, almost blond, hair color as little kids) with a bunch of subtle cowlicks (just like his Daddy)
5. two stubby little bottom teeth
6. chubby hands and feet

You can almost see his two little teeth in this photo.
He used to flop over in the exersaucer, now he can hold himself up with that six pack!
His Favorite Things to Do:
1. nurse (I'm not biased)
2. sleep
3. babble (He stayed home with Daddy a day last week, and I couldn't believe how quiet it was in my car without him in there! I totally missed it!)
4. smile at anyone
5. play with/suck on his toes
6. roll around, kick, move
Funny Things He Does
1. In order to get to sleep, he tends to get rather "noisy." No, he doesn't cry, but he grunts and babbles and rolls around. So when we're at church, during his nap time, I can tell when he's tired because he starts to grunt.
2. He babbles to himself a TON! In the car, in the crib, on the blanket, everywhere. He doesn't cry when he wakes up, he just starts talking to himself.
3. Easy diaper changes are a thing of the past. He's rolling around, trying to suck on the bag of diapers, kicking the wipes off the bed; all good fun!
4. He likes to follow people with his eyes until they look at him and smile.
5. He is very camera trained. At Elsie's blessing, one of Angie's friends told me she could tell he was used to having his picture taken because the minute that camera came out he flashed a huge grin. (I actually think it's because mine is bright blue and he likes the color on it.)
6. He is always smiling when I open the car door to get him out.
What Makes Him Unique?
1. He sucks on his pointer finger when tired.
2. He is so huge!
3. He never cries (maybe two times in a week, and usually that's just a little bit of a fuss).
4. He sleeps really well.
5. He is a good sport, even when teething.
6. He has wandering hands while feeding, both from me and from the spoon.
Look at him, so tired, and still letting Mama try to feed him.

What a cute post! Six months is such an awesome age. Enjoy all the fun babbling.:)
Congratulations! He's a cutie. Isn't it funny when people argue with you about your own kid. A lady argued with me that Rebecca looked like Rachel. You'd think as her mother, I might know something. :) Cute blog.
