It's Like Wild Mating Turkeys

I was listening to the news on the way to work last week and they were sharing a story from Madison, WI, about some wild mating turkeys.  And I'll be honest, I totally thought about that's what my job is like right now. Trying to reason with wild mating turkeys.  I swear 8th graders are not that different from wild mating turkeys.  Hormones are about the same, raging, flying and sticking on anything that moves.

Ability to reason logically is probably about the same too.

The news story talked about people being stalked by these turkeys.  Yep, I feel like that sometimes too.

Apparently, it's a seasonal problem.  Yep, 8th graders are up and down and hot and cold all year long.

Yep, I teach wild mating turkeys.

That is so funny.I'm not a schooL teacher but I am over the beehives and I must say I absolutely HATE my calling. Just watching all the 12-18 year olds I think I've got the worse of them. I don't know how you do it every day. Kuddo's to you!
