Date #1

For Christmas, I gave Jason a year of dates.  I came up with 52 dates and he gets to pick one each week for us to "go on."  Keep in mind with an infant and toddler at home, most of them are at home dates.  And the term date is used loosely.  Mostly the goal is for us to set aside one day each week to be together, doing something other than watching TV (When I run the world, there will be no TV!).  I think it'll be fun to post on here how it's going.

So, Date #1: Redbox Night- Katie's choice

I got to pick because when Jason went to Redbox, there wasn't a thing he wanted to rent, so I told him I would use my pick and watch a movie I borrowed from my sister.  So, I made the popcorn, Jason held Kody, I held Johnny and we watched the first half of Brave.  Yep, you got it, we didn't even finish it.  We still haven't finished it.

Good thing we're flexible and have a loose definition of the word "date."

I'm jealous of your loose definition of date! I would so count that too, but Jeff would not. He's all into the it's just you and me, no kids. If kids are involved it's family time. With a newborn and toddler, I'm ok with family time being the date! How was Brave? I wasn't a fan...
