Jason and I drove to LA with my family for the Thanksgiving weekend. We drove up Thursday morning and then ate a Boston Market Thanksgiving with Great Grandpa Curtis. After that we visited my Aunt Loa and her family for pie and games. Friday, Jason, me and the girls did some touristing. We drove through Venice Beach, Corona del Mar and then walked around the Santa Monica Pier and Promenade. We also drove Mulholland Drive (though Angie and Mindy slept through it...) and then drove around Griffith Park. That afternoon we hung out at Loa's. Saturday we headed home after a stop at the Palm Springs outlets. It was a quick trip, but nice to spend some time with family.

All of the pies my aunt made were totally organic and fairly healthy (as pies go). Her banana cream was to DIE FOR!

They taught us how to play Liar's Dice and we loved it. It's a new family favorite. I didn't do too well (the first one out), but my mom lasted until the final round!

The three of us on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. We didn't have a lot of time- thanks parking meters, but it was still fun to walk around for an hour or so.

Ang is going to buy this store and run it herself when she gets rich.

My favorite picture of the Santa Monica Pier. It was a beautiful southern California day to be out checking tourist stuff!
