- The terrible twos actually start at 18 months- My cousin, Grace, is barely 18 months. She does not take no for an answer. She has some sort of 6th sense about the best possible time for her to create a scene. At Brick Oven Pizza she did a bit of a strip show. At the toy store she had to touch everything. At clogging, she couldn't sit still, she had to clog too! In the backyard, she knows how to slip through the gate. There's a reason why I nicknamed her Chucky, for the horror film not for Rugrats. However, she really was sweet, she just had lots of energy!

This is her after taking a tranquilizer, I mean bottle.
- Having a Cricut ROCKS! The more I use it, the more I love it. I had some YW come over and scrapbook and they loved it too. I took it to UT and my cousins loved it too. Here are a few of the things I made with it over the break: See my other blog for more information about the projects.

Seeing a show on the 1st row is too close- For Colette's birthday, her mom bought her tickets to see Wicked. We were on the first row, we could touch the pit. It was too close. (However, I did learn that a lot of spit is lost in a performance.) If anything happened farther back than 10 feet from the edge, we couldn't really see it. And heaven forbid there was a performer or prop at the front of the stage, we couldn't see anything! But it was fabulous! We LOVED it! I swear, you should get a discount if you buy front row seats.
Scrapbooking is more fun with friends: That one pretty much speaks for itself. I scrapbooked with friends at the store with Bethany and Mindy, at Nancy's house with her for a bit, at home with the Young Women and Maria and Taina, and at the Convention in California with Colette and all of her friends.
- Kids don't have germs. (I am aware that this isn't the truth, but it's what I told myself so I felt okay) While at my aunt's, my 4 year old cousin Emma became my great buddy. She shopped with me, she cuddled while I read a book, she took a nap with me, etc. I shared a lot of food with her, too, so I kept telling myself, "Don't worry, she doesn't backwash" "It's not a problem, she has no germs" We shared pretzels at the mall (and cheese and drink), donuts from Krispy Kreme, pizza from Brick Oven Pizza (and drink too I think), sucker from Pebbles, smoothie from Jamba Juice, and an entire meal on one small plate. But all in all, it was fun to share with her and I loved her company.

- I love Photoshop. I've just recently been hooked and it continues to amaze me. I don't think I'll ever go digital with my scrapbooking, but I'm AMAZED at how much you can do with a few easy buttons. If I only knew how to do more of it. Check out this quick collage I made of Grace's transformation at the restaurant. And this wasn't even anything too fancy.

- Don't try to predict CA weather and AZ has the best spring in the WORLD! The older I get the more I appreciate the predictability of Arizona's weather. 6 months hot, 6 months warm. That is all there is to it, no curve balls, no unexpected rainstorms, nothing, all pretty easy to predict. I'm in California for two full days. Day 1: beautiful, we eat at Cheesecake Factory on the 7th floor of Macys in San Francisco, lovely, wonderful. Day 2: I wear shorts (because it had been so warm the day before and in AZ that's what we wear in March) and it rains and pours and rains some more. So, I took it like a man, and trekked through the day in the rain in shorts and flip flops.
- Traveling is great, even if you've already been there. I had such a nice time visiting with family and friends. It made me with that Nancy and Colette lived closer to me so we could have fun together all of the time!

Sounds like an awesome spring break!
Love the summary! Thanks for being so great with my kids! You are a sport. I'm so jealous about Wicked. Sorry you had a shower while there!
YOu are so funny... California weather is weird that's for sure ;) We are coming to AZ the 7th-14th BUT we are camping near Pima from the 8th-12th... SOOO the only days we can meet are the 8th in the early part of the day and then the 13th... I know, not flexable at all... talk to Taina and see if either date works for her and of course I'd like to meet your friend too. Maybe we can meet up at Hobby Lobby in Mesa... there is one there right? We don't have any in CA :(
