On a Cruise with My Sisters

My sisters and I went on a cruise a week ago. We had a great time! It was nice to relax together and spend time together. Here are some of the highlights.

In Cabo San Lucas it was HOT. Not AZ hot, but too hot to be a tourist. So we paid some Mexican to give us a boat ride to the beach by the resort and spent the next hour standing with our feet in the tide. It was wonderful. However, because I was planning on wearing my hair down, but got too hot and pulled it back, I wasn't sunblocked where my hair would have been- so I burned.

I think I ate TOO much on the cruise. By the end of the week I had to turn down the bread basket and stick to fish and rice. (Don't worry, I didn't turn down strawberry yogurt- my favorite food on the ship). It was nice to get home to some home cooked meals.

Angie and I did a little excursion to La Bufadora (blowhole) in Ensenada. It was nice to get a little tour and learn more about the area. The weather was a bit nicer in Ensenada and we were able to do some more shopping due to the really good deals there.

We also made some good friends at our dinner table. There were three groups there- us, a family from Georgia, and three guys from Irvine. By the end of the week, we were all great pals. We were probably the loudest table in the restaurant and I think everyone knew who we were.

All in all, we had a great time. I hope to be able to go on a cruise with Jason sometime too. Hopefully we can make it happen.

I've never been on a cruise. I'm a bit afraid of water and being so far away from land. I enjoy doing things with my sisters no matter how old we are. (the youngest is 44)

I also checked out your craft blog. Yep...pretty crafty!
