My dad bought tickets for the family to go see Wicked. We went Friday, July 17 with Tracy, Mindy, my aunt, uncle and cousin. Angie went with a friend and they did a double date. My parents stayed back and watched my aunt's other three kids. We had a good time. The first time I saw it, in March, I saw it on the 1st row. This time I saw it 2nd row of the balcony. I can't figure out which is better... Next time I'll have to see it in the general seating area.
It was a bit funny because both of my sisters wore their prom dresses- so Jason and I were quite underdressed for our party. Tracy insists on trying to find every opportunity possible to get another wear out of that dress- she wore it on the cruise ship, too. Well, when Mindy saw Tracy in her dress, she had to wear her dress too. Mom made her ask me if she could and I figured if one sister looked like a princess they might as well both look like one.
Here's our entire party, minus Jason (he graciously volunteered to take the photo). I wore green in honor of Elphie. :-) It was just as enjoyable the second time, even though I knew everything that was going to happen and could sing along with all the songs. It is so fabulous!!!

Blogging hasn't been on my priority list this summer so I haven't checked in with you for a while. It looks like you had a great summer- except for the dog peeing in your tent. That would stink. But camping, the cruise, girls camp Wicked- what a summer! Glad you had a good time.
Sounds so great! We need to book a musical someday soon. We need to be a little more cultured.

I love Wiked! I've only seen it once, but I didn't get to see it on the front row.
I've been wanting to see that musical! I heard it's really good. Too bad the ones here are in Japanese...though I guess that would make it pretty interesting too.
And kudos to your sisters for wearing their prom dresses more than once!
