Dear Santa (in July)

Last December I saw this totally wonderful post on someone's blog about her Dear Santa list.  I totally wanted to bloglift it, but never got around to it.  Well, now it's July, and I don't have a lot to blog about so I'm going to do it now!

Dear Santa,

The Dials have been pretty good this year.  Johnathon is nursing well and sleeping through the night!  Daddy is quite the expert at daddy day care and continues to fine tune all of his daddy skills.  Mommy is learning all she can to balance being a working mommy and working hard to help it all come together.  Even Toby has adjusted really well to our new family addition and makes sure he always knows where Johnny is.  We think you should take into serious consideration everything we hope to find under our Christmas tree this year.

  • Johnathon would like a personal manicurist as Mommy and Daddy still can't seem to keep those baby nails under control.
  • Mommy and Daddy would like a weekly massage to aid in stress relief.
  • Toby would like a dog walker to take care of all of his personal needs.
  • Mommy wants a live in maid who will cook for us as needed while still keeping the house clean and taking care of laundry.
  • Mommy and Daddy both want a mini van.  We hear it's easier to get a baby in and out of the back seat once he's not in the carrier car seat, but until then we think a mini van will solve those problems.
  • Mommy wants a live in photographer who can catch all of our Kodak moments on film.
  • Johnathon wants a bigger carrier with built in air conditioning.
  • Daddy wants a lawn that will not grow weeds and will disintegrate dog waste upon contact.

Santa, we know that you work hard.  We are sure that you too have also been affected by this recession and that times are probably tight at the North Pole too.  Nevertheless, we would appreciate it if you would "pull some strings" and make our Christmas unforgettable.

With love,
The Dials

Love it!!! I totally know what you mean about those baby nails. Ashilene spent the first few months of her life in baby mittens (even in the summer) because Mommy couldn't manage the baby nail clippers effectively and was terrified of Ashilene scratching herself to death.;)
