Family Photos- October 9
So, at the time Jason had just finished his mentorship with Swift and I thought we would only be together as a family for a few days. Well, that turned out to not be the case. (If only I could blog about that...anyway...) But I'm so glad I rushed our family to get photos done right away! I loved them all, but here are a few to share. (Maybe another post to come with more...)
Scrapbook Retreat- October 21-23
Johnny finally left the county! I took him on a scrapbook retreat to Heber. Long story (going back to the I thought Jason was leaving when I made those plans), but he was the only boy and a bunch of scrapbooking ladies. He was a pretty good sport. No photos though. :(
LA Road Trip- October 25-26
Johnny finally left the state. Not sure I'll count it though because we were only outside of Arizona for maybe 12 hours. Jason had to apply for a TWIC card. So we bonzai-ed it. Didn't take many photos, but this one is from a gas station in Quartzite.
Pumpkin Carving and Halloween- October 30
I wanted Johnny to be a sumo wrestler for Halloween. I read online how to make the "diaper." I read online how to make the wig. I made the "diaper." I made the wig. (I figured if a kid can't be a sumo wrestler in AZ on Halloween, then he can't be one anywhere!) Well, we practiced with the wig, no problems. Put the wig on for a few photos all decked out and that wig was gone in two minutes!| He liked playing with the glow sticks that Spencer shared. |
| Family photo after we changed him out of his Halloween costume. |
State Fair- November 3
Balloon Festival- November 18
Curtis Thanksgiving- November 20
Johnny enjoyed a roll and choked on some small pieces of turkey. Those old high chairs aren't as easy to manipulate in a flash as the new ones are. | Mommies and their babies! I know it's blurry, but in the other one none of the babies are watching! |
| Colette was in town the week of Thanksgiving and she and Johnny had some major bonding time while Mommy worked. |
Dial Thanksgiving- November 24
Johnny
enjoyed his own Grandma Beth made mini rolls, some corn and some potatoes. We avoided turkey this time. | Yep, this is what happens when you keep Johnny up past his bed time- GROUCH city! |
