So, since I've been a horrible blogging mother (and if you read the last two posts, you'll see what we've been up to that keeps me so busy, just outside of work and then add in work....), you're getting a whole lot of information in a short amount of time.
PS- Okay, after finishing this post, I'm realizing it gets a little long winded and I apologize, but I could talk about this little bugaboo FOREVER!
Johnny's Stats:
Age: 9 months
Length: 30 inches (92%)
Weight: 25 lbs, 4 oz (97%)
Head diameter: huge
Clothing size: 18 months, but so close to 24 months

| He's still big. Auntie Tracy likes to carry him like this, because she says it helps to distribute his weight more. |
| Daddy still likes to hold him like this. It's fun to compare with these same photos a few months ago when he didn't even reach Daddy's shoulder. |
| He does this adorable snort thing when he is upset about something. This was an attempt to catch it on film. If you make the face and sound first, he will copy you. |
| Still a great eater. However, he is starting to need more than some pureed vegetables to be satisfied. |
| Can you guess who he was looking at in this photo? Mommy! |
| This picture goes with the puke story from a few posts ago. If you look closely you can see the evidence on Jason's head. See how happy he was after puking? |
| Yep, still looking at Mommy. |
| And this is why we have put his carrier in the garage and now use the big boy car seat only. |
| Still doesn't like hats. |
| Getting better at sitting in Grandma Boo's high chair (the same one Mommy sat in!). |
| Okay, he doesn't crawl (he has started scooting in the last week if something enticing enough is in front of him), but he is a professional roller. And if you haven't seen that before, let me tell you, it is hilarious. He can pivot, roll, switch, and more to anywhere he wants FAST. This photo is taken in our bathroom, about 15 feet from where he started in the family room. He exited the family room, went down the hall and down the bathroom floor. |
| He's getting pretty good at sitting on Daddy's shoulders. |
| Johnny in his big boy car seat. |
| Enjoying Costco pizza crust for the first time. Costco is one of his favorite places. He is a huge people, especially baby, watcher. He follows them and until they smile at him and he'll smile back (apparently I did that as a baby too). |
| He's so good at sitting up! |
| Another photo that only makes sense if you've been in my house. This is in our hallway. He started "below" where Toby is in the photo. Who knows how he does it, but he does it all by rolling. |
| That kid loves straws! |
| Not too crazy about flavor free Bahama Bucks. |
| Prefers just the Bahama Bucks sample spoon. |
| Still so happy when he wakes up. |
| Thgis photo was taken the first day he rode in a cart. He loved it, he just about bounced the entire way around the store. (Don't worry, this cart is one of those small ones, he's not really THAT big.) Even now when we put him in the cart, he just wants to bounce around. And I thought that phrase "bouncing baby boy" was figurative, didn't know it was literal. |

18-24 months size clothes??? Front facing carseat at 9 months??? I desperately need to see this kid!
He is such a cutie! Can't believe how big he's getting.
My Jonathan rolled like that too! He didn't crawl until he was around 8 months but he rolled like you wouldn't believe! He could get all over our apartment and into the entertainment center even to pull out all the dvds! My Jonathan also always wakes up happy... still does and he's four. Maybe it's something about being a Jonathan or maybe the first born. I don't know but they do have quite a few similarities!
Oh and I especially love that little brown polo onesie he's wearing in some of those pictures. I have the same one in 6 month size. Benjamin used to wear it all the time. I miss seeing him in it... It's just such a cute shirt! So I'll just come look at pictures of Johnny in it. ;)
