Johnny's First Christmas in a Flash!

The Bell

This photo epitomizes Johnny's first Christmas.  He "confiscated" it from a family friend at Organ Stop.  (I guess after he'd slobbered on it and stuck it in his mouth, she was happy to give it to him permanently.)  After that, it went everywhere with us.  He LOVED it.  The bell made noise, it was small enough to fit in his mouth and it had a necklace so it could be attached to anything (Dad's favorite part).  It's also perfect because he's sitting on Grandpa's lap.  (Now that he's bigger and fun to interact with, Grandpa is happy to take Johnny duty.)  And he's smiling.  This little guy is one happy dude, all the time.

The Tree
Johnny loved the lights on the tree.  He also loved the one wooden ornament I left low enough for him to reach...

The Biggest Real Tree- Anthem, AZ
We went to the outlets with my parents and had our photo taken by the biggest real tree in the nation.

Meeting Santa
Why pay $20 to meet Santa at the mall, when you can take him to sit on Grandpa's, I mean, Santa's lap?
Johnny was more fascinated with his beard than anything else.

Organ Stop
I got some great photos of Johnny eating, and of Grandpa feeding him, but this is the only one that looked like he was enjoying all the lights and music at Organ Stop.

Dial Christmas- Christmas Eve
How does a 9 months old open a gift? With his mouth!

ribbons are another favorite

not too bad for a cousin shot

Curtis Christmas- Christmas morning

We tried desperately to get a photo of him and Elsie in their Christmas pjs- no such luck.
My favorite Christmas photo of him EVER!!!!!

yummy gift, Grandma

gift tags- good

Family photo- too bad Mom is wearing her ugly Christmas pajamas- woops!

Temple Lights
So, we're lame.  We went to the lights before the sun even went down.  It's the secret, I swear!  No crowds, no parking problems, photos turn out, it isn't cold.  It's great!

Another classic Johnny photo.  Wearing his beanie (adult sized, rolled up) and sticking his tongue out!
