Friday night I drove up to Snowflake with some of the other YW leaders in my ward and we stayed in one of the lady's in-law's house that night.
Saturday morning we did the 8:30 session in the Snowflake temple. It was my first time returning to that temple after being there for the dedication in 2002 (I don't remember the date exactly, but I was able to just check it out- thanks to the internet, I probably could have found the scrapbook page somewhere, but the internet was just easier). It was my first time there since being endowed too. Beautiful experience. It was my first experience with a small temple, too. Boy, could I tell it was small. The session was full with extra chairs needing to be brought in- still smaller than a typical Mesa session. We had a great time.

This picture is of the four of us who were able to do a session the two baby mamas were already back at the house with the babies.
It really was a nice trip. We got plenty of time to visit on the way up and get to know each other better.
The only mishap was somehow between one house and the house in Snowflake I lost my contacts. I'm not sure where they are. They weren't in my purse, not in my makeup bag, not in my luggage and obviously, not in my eyes. So, darn it, I had to open a new box! I hate that! The other ones were only 3 days old too. Oh well- at least it wasn't glasses.

So you ended up going huh?! It sounds like you guys had a fun time!
I'm glad you guys were able to go. But, where was the snow? I was hoping to see some pics of you tagging Stephanie or Melinda with a huge snowball. That would have been fun to see on the ward bulletin board. Just kidding! Thanks again for playing for us on Sunday. It was great having you in there.
Temple touring...cool!
