Obviously, I love the bed, because when I'm in it I'm usually sleeping! And I really value my sleep. I thought I valued it when I was single, but it didn't really become a priority until I got married. Boy, do I count on those hours in my bed...
When Jason and I were between dating episodes, but still in the speaking phase, I moved out of my grandparents and in with a roommate. So I needed a bed. Since he was the most aggressive shopper I knew, I took him with me to look at beds (no, there was no ulterior motives there, though my close guy friends tried to convince me there was). Jason tried desperately to convince me to by a king size bed. I saw no point. I was a single, one person with no prospects of getting married, why did I need to spend all that money on such a larger bed? (Little did I know that a year later we would be married...) So I bought the queen size bed. I actually upgraded quite a bit too. Keep in mind that my parents have never paid money for a bed. Jason's parents paid about $4000 for their bed. So the fact that he could get me to spend any money at all on one, was quite an accomplishment. It is fabulous! I love it. I really loved it when I didn't have to share it with anyone. But even now it's not too bad. Jason always says we should upgrade to that king size bed and I always tell him, I spent too much money on this bed to make it a guest bed. So we live for those days when we can spread out in a hotel in a king size bed. Until then, we're happy just to cuddle.

I love a nice bed too! I wish ours was a King... I like my space! Have you ever heard of R & S Mattress? Basically it is a Mattress warehouse where all the models go. We got our bed there for $300. It's about time we get a new one (you are "suppose" to change your mattress every 5 years).
