Love Countdown #9- Arizona

I don't think I ever thought I would be able to say that I LOVE Arizona. But I do. The older I get (I do understand I'm not that old) the more I love this moderate winter climate. We have a few days and I turn into a whiny little girl. "I hate being cold." "Honey, I'm COOOOLLDDD!" I honestly do not mind being hot. I'm an indoor girl. Stay inside, everywhere in AZ has a/c. It's not a problem. Now some of these other places that have "heat waves" or humidity. That is just flat out unbearable. Because nowhere has A/C. We live in the 21st century, and I'm sorry, but some technology is just not optional- do you hear me? If we moved to the middle of Antartica, we'd still have A/C. It's just the smart thing to do.

I love the predictability. Living in northern CA for 2.5 years, I still got irritated when I'd walk outside to find out it was rainy and cold and I wasn't dressed accordingly. Or vice versa, I brought an umbrella and it turned out to be sunny. Let me tell you, in AZ there are two temperatures- hot and not so hot. That's it, that's all. You don't need a coat, a few sweaters will do. You don't need boots, a few pairs of flip flops will cover you. And you certainly don't need an umbrella or long johns (give me a break!).
