Christmas Survey

Merry Christmas Everyone!

So this is post #100, I had big plans for it, but they involve something I wrote for a class that is saved on my school computer, and since I'm on winter break and since I really want to post something for Christmas, the celebration will just have to wait till a later post- oh well!

I got this by email from my friend and thought it would be a lovely celebration for today. Enjoy!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I enjoy wrapping gifts, when they're square. Otherwise, everything should be tucked in a pretty bag.

2. Real tree or Artificial? I love the smell of a real one, but don't like the stress or cleanup. So I am madly in love with my artificial, prelit tree. Oh, it's great!

3. When do you put up the tree? Thanksgiving weekend sometime

4. When do you take the tree down? We officially kill Christmas (and that is the term at home) December 26th. I have the enjoy the rest of my break not thinking about having to take down the tree.

5. Do you like eggnog? Not interested.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? How about favorite Christmas gift story? I never learned how to ride my two wheeler bike until my parents, determined that I would never learn, bought me a scooter for Christmas to get around the neighborhood. December 26th I was riding like a pro- guess I just needed a little push?

7. Hardest person to buy for? Jason, everything he wants is too expensive.

8. Easiest person to buy for? My mom, because I can make her something and she'll love it.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, quite a few- I kind of have a collection going on.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Uh, mail them! And make them by hand- thank you!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Probably something from students...you get some crazy stuff sometimes- but it is the thought that counts

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I don't really have one- but I did have a weakness one year for Hallmark holiday films- I TiVoed all of them- it ended up being about 10-15 films. Jason went crazy!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I make most of my gifts, and I usually plan around summer time and work from there.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? If I answered that question, I'd have to kill you...

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? As my friend put it "goodies that other people make"

16. Lights on the tree? I've already discussed this, see #2.

17. Favorite Christmas song? I love Christmas music for about 4 weeks, all of it- but I really like Handel's Messiah, O Come All Ye Faithful, Carol of the Bells...

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? I always travel to my in-laws and my parents

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dumb question

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? star, but this year we lost motivation, so it's just sitting on the couch by the tree, the top of the tree is empty

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning (unless they're ugly pajamas and then it's Christmas Eve)

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Everyone driving like maniacs and shopping being so crowded

23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color? Bright red and green

24. Favorite for Christmas Dinner? my dad's enchiladas- he makes them every year

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? a baby by next year
