Day 3: Me vs. Snowbirds

So, today was different than the last two days, because Jason went off to run some errands by himself this morning.  I had to drive myself!  (Yes, I'm spoiled, okay?)  I had to pick Mindy up right before lunch and then we had two very small, very simple errands to run before we were going to come back to my house and eat lunch- pick up batting from JoAnn's, pick up some rice cakes from Fry's Marketplace.

Jason and I talk about how many more snowbirds there are by our house in Mesa than there were by our house in Queen Creek.  Well, we were wrong, all of the snowbirds actually live about five miles from our current house and shop at JoAnns and Fry's Marketplace.  To make a long story short, by the time we left Fry's, I was ready to run off the road the next out of state plate I saw!

I've decided no more trips to any stores anywhere near Maine Street between the hours of 10 and 5.  I'll stick to nights when the snowbirds are sleeping!

Report Card:
  • Exhaustion level- medium
  • Rest level- low
  • Accomplishment level- low
  • **New, just for today's experience** Stress level- high!
  • Baby- big kickin'!

This is crackin' me up! I live .2 miles from Sunland Village. It is horrendous - it makes me a lil' crazy (ok, a lot!)!

I went to Joanns the other day to get fabric and I almost got into a fist fight with a 90 year old woman. For reals. She cut in line because my stroller with FOUR kids in it wasn't pointed in the right direction. Then when they called "next in line" 3 times she didn't move. So I went around her and she was like "EXCUSE ME". "Just because you have tons of kids doesn't give you priority" Then she grabbed my fabric and threw it on the ground. She did it again when I checked out but if I write about it I might just get pissed enough to put my foot through this screen. I'm moving to Oregon so someone can Euthanize me when I get that old.
