Mom Memory #1

Books- I picked this one to be the actual #1, because it's my favorite thing about my mom, right in front of the quilting thing. My mom is THE book recommender. I borrow about 90% of my books (in print) from her. She's always happy to talk books and share what she's just read. She's an elementary school librarian and has probably read about 80% of the books in her library. She knows those books and shares with the students. She reads adult, young adult, and children books. She attends conferences on books, she looks online for references, she's in book clubs, basically she does everything she can to know books better. She's actually the one who got me hooked on books on CD. (She listens to them on her iPod while she's walking) (Actually, I think she has a Zune now because it can download books from the library's website and iPod can't.) She is the reason I LOVE to read. I am so grateful that she raised me to love books too. Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I love you.
