Say It Like It Is: My mom isn't afraid to say things "like they are." She's straight up and honest about things and stays away from silly games and dodging of subjects. Usually her honesty is what makes her pretty funny at times too. A recent story about this was when my mom asked my sister Tracy, "Why would anyone want to be on Facebook? How stupid is that? I'd much rather be quilting or reading." To which my dad responded, "That's a good point, dear." Unfortunately/fortunately, I've gotten that same "habit" from my mom, as have most of my sisters. We're not afraid to tell each other if we're wearing something goofy or our hair looks weird.
