Mom Memory #3

High Self-Esteem- So my mom grew up in a family of eight kids. She was the third youngest. Most of the stories I've heard about her growing up while I was growing up were of her two older brothers picking on her and being mean. So she always made an effort to make sure my sisters and me all didn't feel like that. She wanted to make sure we felt good about ourselves and didn't feel bad about ourselves just because of some mean, stupid boys! I've always felt very good about myself. She always made sure we didn't let bad things keep us down and sad, she helped to cheer us and make us feel good about ourselves again. Anytime something is weighing on our minds she makes sure to reassure us and help us feel better again.
