Tomorrow, I am getting induced at 7:30 am! Yippee! The baby will be here SOON! The doctor says it is a good idea because he's measuring so large, my cervix is ready, and I have a bishop score of 8. "But, Katie, what does that mean?" you ask? Well, after some internet research, we've found out that your bishop score is calculated based on effacement, dilation, cervix consistency, baby position and station. A score of 8 gives me high priority at the hospital, unless an emergency happens somewhere else first. It also means I have a 13.3% chance of having a c-section. My average labor and delivery time will be about 11.44 hours. Wish us luck! You'll have to give me a few days to get pictures on here, but I should have some on Facebook a bit quicker.
PS- Tomorrow is also a good day because it's my mom's birthday and this is her first grandbaby and all she wants for her birthday is a healthy grandchild. How great of a giftgiver am I?
