The hunt for THE birth announcement picture

So, I've been trying so hard to get a picture of Johnathon worth putting on his birth announcement.  I mean, they're all ready to go, I just need a photo to upload, and then send them on their happy way.  But I'm finding the task rather challenging for me!  I haven't found THE photo yet, here are some I like for different reasons...

This is just a photo I snapped and got lucky enough to catch one of those post-nursing-gas-caused smiles.  Notice how huge the 0-3 month pajamas are on him.  He needs some newborn tall clothes!

 "Why do you keep taking my photo, Mom?"

 "I'll try to be cute, if I have to..."

 I really like this one, but can't use it because he has clothes on and the background is way too busy!  Dang it!

 So far this is one of the best ones I've gotten.

 

 The problem is, when I get close enough to take a nice shot, the flash washes out his face!
